Senior Accountant, OGD

Location: Fort Worth, TX

About OGD Overhead Garage Door

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process. This individual will play a key role in ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, maintaining general ledger integrity, and supporting audits and internal controls. The ideal candidate will have a strong accounting foundation, excellent organizational skills, and a proactive mindset.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own and manage the month-end and year-end close processes

  • Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and accruals

  • Maintain the general ledger and ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data

  • Prepare internal financial reports and support external reporting requirements

  • Assist with audits, tax filings, and compliance documentation

  • Identify and implement process improvements to streamline the close

  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis as needed

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with FP&A, operations, and external auditors


  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred

  • Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, ideally in a mid-size or larger company

  • Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting principles

  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, QuickBooks, etc.)

  • High attention to detail with the ability to meet deadlines
